Anoscopy, a routine examination
An anoscopy is a routine examination performed by a proctologist. It allows for the diagnosis of anal conditions such as repeated itching, bleeding, pruritus, hemorrhoids, etc. An essential accessory for this examination, the anoscope comes in various forms.
Self-Light Single-Use Anoscope
Safi Med's Self-Light range of single-use anoscopes offers standalone devices with a separate penlight that can also be connected to a dedicated generator. This accessory allows practitioners to use their diagnostic device at their convenience. This feature offers healthcare professionals the opportunity to perform an examination in an outpatient setting, in a consulting room, or at their patient's home with equal efficiency.
The range includes pediatric anoscopes with disposable tubes measuring from 54 to 56 mm. The single-use anoscope models for consultations can be self-illuminating and self-supporting, and reach 79 mm in length. Finally, the "Bec de flûte" model has been specially developed for biopsies and surgical procedures.
Made from transparent plastic, each single-use anoscope is individually wrapped and comes in a box containing 50 to 75 units, depending on the model chosen. The penlight is included in this box.
Beak Single-Use Anoscope
Sapi Med's Beak range of single-use anoscopes offers an innovative and practical design. Thanks to its rounded tip, this device provides a wider view of the anal canal and anal ampulla. A graduated scale is screen-printed on the accessory and a window makes it ideal for any anorectal surgery.
The Beak single-use anoscope is made of transparent plastic; it complies with DM 21/03/73 and is latex-free. It provides optimal illumination with a GLF 100 cold light source.
Each box contains 25 individually wrapped units sterilized with ethylene oxide.
